Kids in the Kitchen started out when full time mum Vanessa started looking for cool reusable products for her own kids, and discovered there were a lot of great products available, some of which weren't available in New Zealand.
Vanessa was already running a stall selling pre-loved clothes and toys at second-hand kids markets which she enjoyed. Combined with a background as an early years teacher and full-time mum of two, the idea was born to start a small business selling litter-free, products at kids markets and online.
