Welcome to Murray Downs Farmstay, a 650 hectare pedigree livestock breeding farm in Amberley, just outside Christchurch. Murray Downs has been a Texel Sheep and Murray Grey Cattle breeding farm since the early 1990s and we passionately believe in extensive, not intensive, farming practices. Our philosophy has always been to work as sustainably as possible to provide the best environment and living conditions for our livestock.
