Sumer Contemporary Art is the premier art destination in the Bay of Plenty region. The gallery presents high-quality collectable contemporary art by a range of leading artists; showing work by both established and emerging talent.

The intention of the gallery is to support artistic practices that are dynamic, challenging and innovative. By providing a venue wherein local audiences can acquire work by top New Zealand and International artists, we aim to encourage an appreciation of contemporary art and actively foster a strong collecting culture here in the Bay of Plenty. We also aim to seen as a destination art venue for national and international collectors and art lovers visiting the region.
