You'll find our kindergarten at the end of a quiet residential street in Mairehau, close to two local Primary schools. Kidsfirst Kindergartens Mairehau is the place where lifelong friendships begin for children aged 2-5 years.

You can feel the calm and friendly wairua (spirit) in our environment as you come in the door. Our kindergarten is light and warm, with tamariki's work adorning the walls. Outside, our playground provides a lush, green and natural landscape with physical challenges and activities that capture the imagination, providing endless opportunities for your child's curiosity and exploration. It is our little surprise out the back!

At Kidsfirst Kindergartens Mairehau we follow the New Zealand early childhood curriculum oeTe Whriki, which strengthens early learning and lays a strong foundation for later success. Our teachers plan the programme and focus areas around the children, and their whanau's aspirations for them.
