Explore the pristine waterways of Tahakopa Bay and Tahakopa and MacLennan River's. Over 25 kilometres of paddling available on our un-guided freedom kayak hire packages. Our super stable NZ made double and single sit-on-top kayaks provides the paddler with a great platform to experience this pristine area of The Catlins. Kayaking in Papatowai allows us to explore and experience the beautiful waterways and rare fauna and flora inaccessible by foot.
Hire kayaks from two hours to a full day, or experience our Dawn Chorus paddle from 5.30 am and watch the wildlife start their day!
