24th September 2018 Tres Pure NZ have requested that I remove the negative review I've made of their company. Findabusiness do not remove reviews, so I will submit an addendum based on fact. I don't wish to negatively critique a small business but when that business does not perform to the standards they claim to posses, a negative critique ( I hope) will offer an opportunity for that business to improve their performance in order to meet the claims they make to customers. After placing my online order, it took a request by me for an update after 10 days for Tres Pure to admit they didn't have the item in stock and needed to order it from the US. This was the first time Tres Pure had made contact with me. They stated I could wait the 2 weeks it would take to arrive or receive a refund. I opted for the 2 weeks. It took 52 days in total from placing the order to receiving the item. A request for an update after 15 days from the '2 week' statement was met with zero response. It was only after I asked for a refund on the 50 day mark that Tres Pure replied to say it'd been shipped. Tres Pure claim they are a small business, great...good for them....but being a small business does not excuse poor customer service nor poor communication. I've found it interesting that within 12 hours of posting my negative review, Tres Pure emailed me to ask if I'd remove it. Proof that this company does and can communicate swiftly if motivated to do so! I hope this review prompts them to consider their operating practices to foster more of a customer-centric business model. I maintain my disappointment of this purchasing experience ($435.00 worth) and do not feel compelled to purchase anything further from Tres Pure NZ in future.

22nd September 2018 I wouldn't deal with this company again. Do not trust that they have in stock what is stated on their website. They have been the absolute worst communicators for any purchase I've ever made online in the last 10 years. I've actually never given a negative review about a company before but I feel compelled to save others from going through this torture. It took 47 days for Tres Pure to deliver my purchase. I asked for my money back after 40 days and 7 days later the purchase arrived. Untrustworthy, poor communicators, unprofessional and an incredibly frustrating experience all round. Better to order Berkey water systems from the manufacturer or deal direct with a company in the US. I contacted Berkey in the US to ask for help but Berkey take no responsibility for their Tres Pure agent in NZ.
