Our pine sleepers were pressure creosote treated and then used on the rail network for 60 years or more. This means they are extremely durable but the creosote finish can bleed in the sun.

Hardwood sleepers have often been used on bridges and other suspended structures. They have great character. Quality and colour varies so come and have a look.

Ask us about tungsten tipped chains for cutting sleepers and other hard timbers. Stays sharp four times as long as standard saw chains without resharpening and last longer, even when working under extreme conditions.
