4th July 2012 We moved to the Manawatu recently and decided to rent until we decided what area we wanted to buy in etc. We found Redex pretty unprofessional and were given the run around by them on a couple of occasions. For example, properties listed on Trade Me that were actually already rented, poor descriptions and photo's of properties and they were asking more for rent than other rental companies for the same properties in two occasions! Would not recommend them at all. We went with The Professionals literally.

28th February 2012 Mostly neutral (read: we didn't have to deal with them for most of the tenancy) but there were major issues: a request for fixing a few things was enthusiastically accepted and then ignored (and what happened to that promised new carpeting?); they took bond for things we were not responsible for; and finally someone gave us an undeserved bad reference - they said we were 3 weeks behind on rent when we were never behind for a day. I see from the post above that they seem to be great for overcharging but if you are renting, beware.
