"After many years in the building industry, owner Tod Tait thought there must be a more efficient and cost-effective way to build homes. That(TM)s when Modular Living was born.
We build and fit our modules in a factory based in Albany, Auckland, using structural insulated panels (SIPs). Once the modules are completed we transport them to site to put together. Building in a factory allows us to oversee and ensure a consistent level of quality while minimising onsite work. This means we can build homes at a significantly lower cost per metre than traditional building methods.
Best of all we can hand you the keys to your new home 12 to 14 weeks after council consents have been issued.
We believe in minimising our footprint on this planet, so being sustainable is pretty important to us. SIPs ticked several boxes of what we were looking for in a construction system - being sustainable was definitely one of them."
