The Soy Works started from humble beginnings in February 1983. In early 2014 we officially changed our name to NoMoo to better reflect an evolution we(TM)re currently going through.
But changing our name does not mean the end of The Soy Works brand which will continue to produce our great range of tofu(TM)s and vegetarian small goods to the same ethical standards we have been for over 30 years!
We saw our new brand as an opportunity to really press home our commitment to NZ sourced ingredients whilst taking our business forward with a new and more diverse range of products that we hope will one day become household regulars.
As part of our commitment to New Zealand ingredients, we were the first tofu manufacturer in NZ to use ONLY soybeans grown in our beautiful country. They are of course non-GMO and as far as we can ascertain, we(TM)re still the ONLY commercial tofu manufacturer to use 100% NZ grown produce.
