Dan has taken 2 of our children for driving lessons and helped to prepare them to sit their restricted. Dan had a fantastic manner with both of our children. He has a relaxed and engaging manner that made the lessons informative and fun... As parents of 2 new learner drivers I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dan and we look forward to spending more time with him as they prepare to sit their full license.

Dan & Rach offer a range of driving lessons for learner drivers for their restricted licence (class 1) through to advanced driving assessment for experienced drivers.

They are patient instructors and will show you how to drive safely and legally. Their driving school offers young drivers the chance to develop skills to drive defensively and progress towards their restricted driving test. They teach all necessary driving manoeuvres including steering, merging, lane changing, three point turns, reverse parallel parks, traffic lights, hill starts and can offer a mock test.

Intermediate lessons will help those needing to brush up before sitting their restricted or full license test, or international conversion. They also teach hazard detection and response which is in the full licence test.

Advanced company driving assessments for employees driving work vehicles with a written report . Also road safety defensive driving courses for companies. Contact Dan to book your staff.

"I took some driving lessons with Dan and I learned so much from him. He is a very understanding instructor, he is great at reading his students and always teaches you the correct and easiest way to drive. I would recommend Dan to anyone wanting to take some lessons before their test. He is amazing! Thanks for everything!"

Dan is an excellent instructor and I'm really glad i chose him to teach me how to drive in Queenstown. Dan was able to accommodate my busy work schedule and I was also able to use my own manual transmission car to learn in. The lessons were well structured and after each lesson i felt more and more confident on the road. Dan taught me everything from the basics of gear changes, through to parallel parking, hill starts and driving in busy traffic. By the end of the lessons i was able to sit my restricted test with confidence and passed easily. I would highly recommend Dan and couldn't have passed without his help.

Dan was a great instructor, lots of helpful tips and lots of knowledge. would definitely recommend, made me feel very confident driving and also helped me get my restricted. wouldn't of passed it without his help :)

I was nervous about correct driving techniques and road codes in NZ.As my previous driving tests hadn't been positive, I looked for professional Driving instructor and I was lucky to found Dan. Dan put me completely at ease and I felt very comfortable driving with him. He was a very supportive instructor and I can recommend him highly!
