Wow no reviews, surprising because I think this place is absolutely awesome. I have a mission to try every proper coffee shop in Auckland in order to search out the best coffee experience. I have an established top 3, of which Ark Coffee is number two. Simply sensational attention to detail regards roasting of the beans which is done in-house - the roaster makes for quite a wonderful interior design. Interestingly Ark makes a point of celebrating the farmers who work hard to provide us with wonderful coffee. Adorning the walls are pictures from the owners travels to visit these small landholdings. I have tried all major 'styles' of coffee result here - espresso, piccolo, flat white, 3/4 flat white - and all are tremendous. However it is the espresso that I come here for, every single origin roast or blend depending on the stock of roasted beans is of exceptional standard. These guys seem to prefer a south american bean so often less earthy than their african counterparts and quite balanced acidity with floral notes. Very friendly service rounds off what is just a wonderful experience. Go there!
