With overseas guests and living in the area we headed for Sautee. It was a wonderful experience from the very knowledgeable front of staff to the amazing Turkish chef. We had some tapas plates which were all great and also a larger plate which included Beef cheeks with couscous and other scrumptious vegetables. The desserts where amazing too and our waiter even brought one out for us to taste before choosing. We shared the Caramelized Pumpkin and apricot fusion with Kapiti Vanilla and Revani which is freshly made sweet semolina also with Kapiti Vanilla Icecream.
Cream. I do hope people visit this restaurant as it is a great addition to other places in Newmarket.

Welcome to Sautee Bistro and Cafe. Situated just a few minutes walk from Broadway on Remuera Road enjoy a long, leisurely dinner with friends or a coffee stop after a day out shopping. Our relaxed surroundings and freshly roasted coffee will make you feel right at home.
With Nuffield Street, Rialto Cinema, Newmarket Train Station and many businesses nearby it is an ideal meeting place in Newmarket.
Our talented head chef has bought together the flavours of Turkey and the Mediterranean coast serving food that is rich in the history and flavour - vine-ripened tomatoes, freshly baked bread, olive oil, aromatic spices and succulent meats. Our menu has a great variety with many options for vegetarians. For those with a sweet-tooth there are a range of deserts to tempt.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a range of cabinet food available. A set menu is available for groups of 8 or more.
