8th February 2017 CAUTION!! Think twice about purchasing a bike from Carbon Garage.. If you cannot see, feel, touch or ride what Carbon has advertised don't waste your time.. I made a purchase in early 2016 and was told the bike was 6 weeks away - I was made to wait 6 months before I took ownership of my GS1100E.. It had its issues when it arrived - Because everything goes through Rob the owner the mechanics can only go so far until a further approval with Rob is made - Because Rob is never there or overseas, this makes sorting issues a dragged out process.
I finally receive the bike in Wellington and it looks great - The 2nd bike ride the front sprocket falls off, luckily for me at a low speed when pulling out of a mates driveway. I emailed Rob @ Carbon more than once regarding what could have be fatal along with photos of the damage - Not once did I get a reply
A week further on the whole front end of this bike came loose where the top triple-clamp was moving - at this time I had my local bike shop tighten everything properly - A copy of this invoice was sent to Carbon Garage and guess what?? NO REPLY
Great coffee, friendly staff, yummy food and sexy motorbikes
