BEWARE: Took a Panasonic home cinema sound system to have the dvd drive door refitted due to the spring coming off and removing the door myself to prevent more damage. Faced an initial $50 fee, whatever the issue, despite telling them what was needed and an inspection wasn't required, was told this would be deducted from any fee charged....which I still thought was extortionate to purchase and fit a new spring. On collection they wanted another $40.85!!! The spring was $4 and the rest for fitting, so $90.85 to purchase and fit a spring which took over 3 weeks to do....what do you think!!!!

In response to your comments... This unit of yours required disassembly to repair the spring attachment. There was no spring in the unit, therefore we need to find a suitable alternative as a original replacement is not available. The inspection fee was included into the repair fee. The charge for this repair was 1 hour plus part. Our hourly rate is in line with other service companies. At the time of booking in your unit, we did advise of a delay with audio work due to the Christmas/New year period. I Trust this adds Balance and accuracy to your comments.
