Just finishing 3 months at CrossFit Newmarket and I'm really satisfied with how much I've changed. Jason, Ian, and everyone else has been very supportive and they will not hesitate to push you beyond what you think you can do. I've been studying for a semester in Auckland and I don't think it would have been nearly as successful without the friends I made at CF Newmarket.

I have been going to Crossfit Newmarket for coming up 6 months now, by far it's the best form of training I've done. Jason's passion is admirable and infectious!

I wondered how I would cope starting up with cross fit, coming from a general gym, a female, close to 50, a history of 2 back operations and a partial mastectomy. Any apprehension soon disappeared. I decided to do a few personal training sessions with Jason so I could be confident about my technique. Jasons knowledge and passion were outstanding, soon I was joining the regular classes. The environment in the work out sesssions is amazing, everyone is so encouraging no matter what your level is. It has a real team atmosphere and at the end of the workout you feel you have really achieved something. I encourage everyone to give it a go, although you feel like you are in a team you are catered for as an individual. I can't believe I hesitated!

I was referred to Crossfit by a fellow competitive skiier, and at first was skeptical it was going to differ from the vast number of gyms, trainers and dryland training methods i had used in the past....BUT...after 2 sessions i felt more of a "member" than i have ever before in my previous training methods. What really makes Crossfit Newmarket for me is the training environment- and it is worth every single cent. It is a co-operative training session where you work alongside others, encouraging, spotting and competing against the clock for PB's. It brings out the best in everybody- from seasoned high level cross-fitters to new-comers. After my first 2 months of training at Cross Fit Newmarket, i headed over to Canada for the Northern Hemisphere winter and have to admit id never been so well conditioned pre-season before. Cross fit Newmarket has got the recipe just right!!

Every couple of weeks, Jas tells me that the next workout will change my life and he's right! I've become fitter, stronger, leaner and meaner (not really meaner but it seemed like the next best word to use!) since I started training with him last year. I'd spent the previous years training as a runner, culminating in a marathon last year but my progress seemed to be on a long flat plateau. Since taking on Crossfit my life has changed! The box at Crossfit Newmarket is a great place to train ... egos get left at the front door and everyone is out to encourage everyone else, to reach their new PB. It's an infectiously good place to be and inspiration comes from seeing others around you climb their own mountains. And the training works!

CrossFit Newmarket is not your typical gym where you tend to just pump weights - CrossFit combines strength work with cardio vascular fitness and is a complete workout which is challenging, fun and never boring (different workout everyday). Jason Sawyer (owner/coach) is the fitness guru from hell and is fantastic at regularly checking your technique during the workout and is supportive but not pushy. He caters for individual needs and adjusts weights, etc, accordingly. It's a great environment to train and get fit in and all levels of fitness are catered for. CrossFit Newmarket is the training environment I was looking for!

By far the best workout i've ever had. The team's enthusiasm is infectious and makes you push yourself harder than you thought you could. I've got more out of it than i ever did with a personal trainer.

Great location/passionate owner and fantastic atmosphere. The crossfit system can cater to a wide variety of fitness levels and the "different workout" every day approach maintains interest and facilitates ongoing fitness level improvement. Thoroughly recommended

Crossfit is easily the hardest and best workout that I have ever done. Jason is a fantasic trainer who is passionate about the gym he runs and who really helps people in a hands on role modeling way to excel at their workouts. The great thing about Crossfit is it's not just for people who are already fit, are currently in training or have a lot of experience working out in a gym environment. Whilst some of the people at Crossfit push themselves beyond pain, blood, sweat and tears, there are a lot of people who come to Crossfit without any real experience or who haven't done anything fitness wise for years ... and everyone loves it! There's such a community spirit at this gym, there are no show ponies and everyone is there to support each other to smash out a great workout. One of the best things about Crossfit is the variety - no two days are the same and the workout are always varied and challenging. Every session also starts and finishes with a warm up and warm down and stretching. I've been doing Crossfit since October 2010 and it is by far the best workout that I've ever done. This is due to a combination of the program, the trainer and the other people who I train with.

An awesome crossfit gym offering intensive, varied fitness training to a range of people who have a passion for fitness. The people I have met here are from all walks of life. They range from marathon runners to heavy lifters to individuals who are getting back into shape after a sedentary lifestyle. I started training here in December 2010. I have achieved better results in these few months than I did after 3 years at a traditional gym. The supportive community at Crossfit Newmarket make me want to hit the gym each day. Being a relatively new facilty, I am excited to see how Crossfit Newmarket develops in the coming months. I know it can only can better from here.

I've been going to Crossfit for five weeks and am so much fitter already! It is totally scaleable which means that I can workout alongside professional athletes and we are all challenged at our own levels. Jason is the best, and I really enjoy the great support from my teammates at Crossfit. Just try it, you'll love it too - it's totally addictive! Jay
