27th January 2015 We took our external hard drive here to get fixed on a Monday, when passing it over you would expect you could explain what is wrong with it, instead I was hardly acknowledged and just given a piece of paper to write everything down on, not being a computer expert I wasn't really sure what to put? I tried to explain to the person what was wrong with it before I handed it over but he just took it off me and wasn't interested in what I had to say, I left feeling very uncomfortable that I had just left a hard drive which contains our whole life on it with someone so careless.
Their slogan is 'we fix computers fast' which is funny because a week later I had to phone because I hadn't heard anything from them. I was put on hold 3-5 times while they searched for my hard drive THEY HAD LOST IT!!! ....I was asked to send a photo of the hard drive so they could find it. Before I sent the photo I received another call to say it was found and I would receive a phone call the next day... no phone call the next day, phoned again Monday, was told a confusing explanation of what was wrong with it and it was ready. Went to pick it up was asked to pay $158 and it would be ready in half an hour!! I didn't have time to wait around and was pretty pissed I had walked down there to be told it wasn't actually ready. Picked it up that evening, took it home and it had someone else's data on it!! Disgusted we took it back the next day, worried as to where our data was, I sat around for an hour while they tried to find our hard drive, I demanded a refund and was told it would be put into our bank account. I left that morning and our hard drive was eventually found later that day. Given to us with a VERY poor apology. The customer service at this place is disgusting and they cannot be trusted with your personal information, especially as it is sent home with the wrong customers!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! ...Own up to your mistakes computer mate, fix your procedures as they obviously suck and take a customer service course, word of mouth spreads fast!
