I have eaten at Fire and Ice a couple of times and have really enjoyed the food ( I have has the Pork belly and my sister had the Risotto) we also had very good service from friendly staff.The platters are exceptional and great for when you want something lighter than a meal and the deserts are to die for.

Fire and Ice is an elegant bistro and bar situated at the heart of trendy Ponsonby.

It has a substantial upstairs function room and balcony, coupled with its own bar and dining area.

The main dining area on the ground level with the curve bar, a great lounge and walkabout space with leaners and rattan chairs for your comfort.

Dj(TM)s play every Thursday and Saturday with a live band playing on selected Friday nights.

Fire & Ice welcomes you to try its array of fine foods, drink and hospitality.

Menu includes a range of sophisticated yet relaxed European-influenced dishes. Bar stocked with a comprehensive range of wines beers and spirits.

Had a lovely night out here with my husband. The food was delicious with decent sized servings. The service was friendly and each course was delivered in a timely fashion. The overall atmosphere was more bar then restaurant. The only downside was the sports on the T.V next to where we were sitting.
