Morita is a French Japanese restaurant located on the corner of Swanson Street and Mills Lane in the Auckland CBD (behind the Stanford Plaza on Albert Street).
Morita has recently been nominated in the 2011 Metro Restaurant of the year awards in the newly created Asian category.
The restaurant is named after its founder, Masaru Morita, who was head chef at the late and lamented Ariake in Lower Albert St, Auckland's benchmark Japanese restaurant for around 30 years.
Morita's dinner menu is degustation.
