I had my first and only (so far) tattoo done here a couple of weeks ago. Planned it ahead of time as i wanted it done on my holiday from Oz, and the whole team were great. I had my own 'desgn' which they recommended Ben ink for me, and I couldn't be happier. He talked it through with me when I arrived and checked it was definitely the right one for me (probably more so as it was my first). He then free-hand replicated what i had emailed through, making it even better than my attempted artwork! and proceeded with the four hour process of getting my half-sleeve completed in the one sitting. I obviously don't have any other studio to compare it too, but the pain was made a very bearable experience by the team (and obviously Ben specifically) and the result is a first tatt i am very proud of. I could not recommend these guys high enough, and would love to make it back over the ditch for my second one someday.

I got tattooed here on Saturday by Naomi. What a pleasant experience! I was very nervous and she was able to put me at ease. Lovely to deal with and even though i was pretty vague as to what i wanted she came up with something that was just perfect. Love my new tattoos :-) I've also been pierced by Dayna and i have nothing but good things to say about her as well. All in all a great experience! Thanks again!

This is the third tattoo parlor I have been to, and definitely my last because I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! The staff are friendly, knowledgable, professional and amazingly talented. It feels like home when I walk in as Nadia and Dayna recognize me immediately. I've had two large pieces done here, a colored thigh piece by Tom which was everything I wanted but better. His skill and vision made my dinosaur come to life and I get so many comments and people asking who did my tattoo. Tom has a great sense of humor, loves his job and looked over the moon to do a dinosaur piece in his classic style. My matching thigh piece will be done by him, for sure. My second was a greyscale white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland on my forearm by Ben. He took my idea and made it explode into this amazing high detailed piece that I'm stoked to have on me forever. He's an amazingly fast yet detailed artist and for future greyscale work on my pending Alice sleeve he will be my go to man. The establishment itself is spotless and the atmosphere just feels great. They've made my tattoo experiences so much fun and I always feel like top priority. Keep up the amazing work guys, you deserve these 5 stars.

Such a lovely environment! Everyone was really friendly and welcoming and didn't make me feel nervous at all. Had many tattoos done here before, I often go in with very vague descriptions and they give me really sweet designs. Awesome piercings too, healed really well, we done really well and got given great aftercare advice.

Without a doubt one of the best tattoo shops in Auckland, if not NZ! Great people, amazing artists, clean shop, basically everything you need to get some great ink. I've had most of mine done there and will definitely be back for more.

Couldn't speak more highly of these guys. I have had a couple of pieces done by Liesje and the work is absolutely top notch! Have received a number of comments on both of them and will definitely be going back for more in the near future. The shop is super friendly and clean, and the staff very approachable which makes getting your first, or hundred and first tattoo all the more easier.. Highly recommended for sure!

I came her for my first tattoo on the recommendation of a friend. Ended up getting a monster chest piece. This place really is the best. AWESOME artists. AWESOME art, and just all around AWESOME. Would never get inked anywhere else, 3 awesome bits of art and i am only getting warmed up. Would recommend to everyone and anyone. Adam and Aaron are BEASTS.

BEST place to get tattoos done in auckland!! iv got many tattoos but i got my neck one and one on my arm done here and years later i am still sooo happy with them!! they are still bright and i constantly get people commenting on them about how amazing they are so thanks again!! Highly recommend the tattooed heart to anyone wanting an amazing tattoo that stays amazing year after year and the staff are friendly and makes you feel welcome xxx

Adam likes to stab needles into my skin, yet I keep returning, that must be a good thing, right? But seriously, The Tattooed Heart is a very professional studio with artists that understand and accommodate their customers. I wouldn't recommend getting a tattoo from anyone else.

I had a tattoo done at The Tattooed Heart (by tattooist Liesje). I am extremely happy with the finished product. I was so impressed that when my sister was after a tattoo I recommended that she try The Tattooed Heart as well. She got a Tattoo done by Ben, and was also extremely happy with her tattoo. These guys are really friendly and highly professional. I would definitely recommend the Tattooed Heart to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo.
