At Rapid CrossFit we use exercises that place large demands on your nervous system. We use bodyweight exercises to challenge you, exercises that make you strong and agile to handle anything life throws at you.
Most gyms emphasise training with weight machines. Most gym instructors teach exercises originating from bodybuilding. Single joint movements like those done with typical weight machines and traditional bodybuilding exercises isolate muscles without the support of others. Rarely in life does your body activate isolated muscles without the support of others. When you sit on an exercise machine all the balance, stabilisation, proprioception and accuracy functions that your body uses in normal activities in real life and sport completely shutdown. Machines unfortunately are not designed for real life activity, people may see improvements in strength but functionality is often compromised.
Rapid CrossFit offers real solutions to fitness and total wellness. We are not going to leave you on treadmill, or a bike with a book to read, we are going to make the time you donate to exercise work for you. Our workouts are intense and fun, they will challenge you and your body to do things you never dreamt possible. When you workout you will be required to be mentally alert, present and focused. We will challenge your co-ordination, agility, stamina, strength, speed, endurance and flexibility. Our training goal is to help you achieve improvements in alall areas of fitness.
