6th July 2012 I am 40yrs old & I have practiced chinese martial arts for 13yrs and was sadly resigned to the probability that back aches and sore muscles were something I was just going to have to put up with. It is a passion that has been extremely hard on my body. I work as a caregiver, so my lower back and shoulders often suffer too. Now, after only 4 mths practice at Silverdale Yoga, I have never felt so good. For the first time, I have a teacher with absolute knowledge on how to stretch and strengthen muscles properly through correct alignment, without causing any injury. My joints are rejoicing and my back feels great. I now use simple stretches whenever i feel tightness and the pain just goes away. My energy levels & flexibility have increased dramatically. From the very first class with Tracey, I felt amazing. I regret not starting Iyengar Yoga years ago. Tracey is a fantastic teacher, very focused and aware of student safety and progress at every moment during class. She has created a very relaxed, supportive environment so literally, anyone can do this. Tracey is always conscience of any injury or illness carried by students. The support she gives us is outstanding. I have complete trust in her training through how I well I am feeling. I simply rave about my yoga - it is magic stuff!
