15th March 2012 I had Priya as a midwife for three of my children and she is a lovely person. She is very approachable, very understanding and very caring. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants an experienced midwife. She has got a great back up team which made me feel comfortable as well. I wish her all the best.
To be a midwife is a great privilege. No other career offers the opportunity to accompany and support women through such a natural and exciting event in their lives.

i bring to midwifery a wealth of experience. i qualified in South Africa in 1989 as a midwife, and enjoy the benefit of using my Nurse training(1986) in my midwifery practice as well.I taught Primary Health care and the Perinantal education Programme, before immigrating to New Zealand.
Since emigrating to New Zealand in 2001, i initially worked in Wellington Womens Hospital ,before becoming an LMC. I continued to work as an LMC when I moved to Auckland in 2003.
I strongly believe that childbirth is a natural event and that pregnancy and birth should be a positive event that every woman enjoys.

3rd April 2011 The best Midwife ever cos I had wonderful and great experience with priya during my pregnancy.She made me feel so relaxed , safe and comfortable about everything especially when I was in labour.She is so passionate about what she does, and does such a great job! If you are pregnant or know anyone who is I would recommend her as your midwife. I consider myself very lucky when I found Priya as my midwife.

1st March 2011 My sister had Priya as her midwife and because she had such a wonderful experience she recommended I go with her. It was the best decision I ever could have made. As a first time mum I was extremely anxious. Priya always put me at ease and was so open to answering all my questions and concerns. She was so friendly and approachable, that I felt secure and that I could depend on her. Priya was always quick to return cell phone calls and messages at all hours and was extremely dedicated to mointoring the health of baby and myself at appointments. During my labour she was extremely supportive, calm and professional, this assisted me to stay calm and I felt at ease in her trustworthy hands. She is an extremely professional, caring, and dedicated midwife. I wish there could be more like her out there ! I am so pleased to have chosen Priya as my midwife she made my pregancy a wonderful experience. I hope that I may be so lucky as to have Priya as my midwife again in future! Priya I appreciate all your hard work and I can never thank you enough ! You truely are the best.

28th February 2011 Priya was recommended to me by two freidns who both had their babies delivered by Priya. My husband and I cannot praise her enough. She is professional, caring, sensitive to our needs and always puting mine and my baby's welfare first. As first time parents she explained everything to us thoroughly and answered all our questions which gave us confidence to make decisions. I had a scare midway and she was firm with me and kind which calmed me down and kept me focused on the welfare of my baby. I had health issues and she monitored me throughout.
When I went into labour she was a gem. She kept calm and walked us through what to do and what to watch for. She called me periodically through the first stage to check on me and advise on steps to take. My labour was not progressing and she checked me up and referred me to hospital to. I had to be induced, so had to stay in hospital. She told me exactly what would happen.
Priya was a blessing during active labour and delivered our baby girl wonderfully. As a result baby and I were well and I had an amazing recovery due to the care given by Priya.
I would recommend Priya to anyone seeking a midwife. I will definitely be calling when next pregnant. She has a gift and I wish her only the best for her future.

26th February 2011 Having had my 1st child with an obstretrician in SA,i was doubtful about going the widwife route the 2nd time around.Boy,was i wrong...Priya was amazing and right from the get-go,cleared any doubts and discomfort.She came highly recommended,and i now know why!She was thorough,compassionate and professional through-out my pregnancy and delivery.I could call her anytime,pre and post natal and she would answer my call offering me advise,assistance or just a chat to make me feel better.I am so happy and blessed to have had her as my midwife,i would recommend her any day.Thank you Priya for making my experience with midwifery a memorable and wonderful one.Wish you only the best...
