1st February 2015 I will not use their service again. I bought a re-gassing voucher for my air con for car, and after having been to them, 2 weeks later, the air con stopped working. I rang them to ask why this would have happened, and asked how long a re-gassing should last for, which they couldn't tell me?? I also asked if it could be a leak to which they replied 'we don't check for that'. So, you can re-gas my air con, but you can't check for leaks? Makes sense... So, I brought my car back. The rude guy I dealt with told me it didn't need regassing - it was a fuse. He seemed extremely uninterested and couldn't care less about the whole situation. 2 days later, air con stops working again. Have talked to 2 other car places, and on mentioning issues with my air con and they asked who it was, I got to '08' before they finished my sentence of 0800 Best Deals and told me that they have heard lots of complaints also. I have emailed Grab One to not advertise their deals anymore as they definitely are not 'Best Deals'

23rd August 2012 When is a Service, not a service ?
Purchased a WOF, Standard Car Service & Safety Check on Grab One.
They were 15 minutes late to open their shop at 8am.
Returned to them at 5:20pm and was greeted by a half full beer on the counter (Wednesday drinks?). I was told my station wagon had failed a WOF due to headrests not being in the back seats. They hinder my rearview and I took them out when I bought the car.
In the 7 years I have owned my car, I have never failed a WOF for this reason. My car has had 13 WOFs - 3 from VTNZ and the rest from other garages.
I was issued a WOF sticker, but told this has not been entered in the system (is that legal?) until I returned with the headrests in place.
I asked to see the WOF paperwork that said I needed the rear headrests. The guy said no.
I have no WOF check sheet and there was not a single piece of paper to say what servicing or safety checks had been done to my car. For all I know, they did nothing....
This business is very unprofessional and doesn't know the meaning of service.
