13th August 2014 What a fantastic meal! We were a party of 6 and none of us could fault the meal or service. The fire kept us warm on a wet, chilly night outside. We had antipasto platters to start which were mouthwatering, followed by a variety of mains, pork belly, chicken breast, fish, lamb and everything was of a very high standard, very fresh, every dish was delicious! To finish we had lemon tart and pana cotta - exceptional desserts. A very enjoyable evening with amazing food. Thanks Danger for a wonderful evening.

10th August 2014 Went for lunch today on the re opening after they closed for the month of July. Goodness nos why they closed but were very disappointed. Ordered the crumbed squid for $18 and got the processed stuff you get from fish and chip shop. Told them after the reputation I've heard danger had was pretty gutted and especially for Okurukuru. Danger if you keep food like this up you won't be open for long. Will never ever go back especially after reading other reviews.

16th January 2011 This restaurant has a great location and superb views. The food and service, however was very disappointing. Even the tables were far too big and clunky to be comfortable. As a party of six for dinner, our order was taken quickly and our starters arrived ok. However, a pear and cottage tart was soggy and tasteless and the scallops were biege and far from fresh. We then had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for our main courses. The steaks had been done for some time and were luke warm with congealing jus. The special of the day chicken pie was all watery soup with almost no chicken. We were so put off we didn't wait for sweets. Complained to the manager who tried to argue with us. Will not be back.
