31st March 2011 The Long Bar is a firm favourite, both when I am at work and at home. The Long Bar is an absolute hive of activity during the lunch time period in the week. They can cater for small groups of 2 to larger groups of 15. Even when the place is packed, the service is smart and efficient. They will also do a separate bill per person so its ideal for leaving dos. They take phone orders and offer a takeaway service. After hours the restaurant is a little less busy and there is always plenty of parking outside. So I will quite often ring up and nip in for a quick takeaway.
The food is pretty good and they seem to cater for each taste. Good noodles, good rice dishes, good curry dishes. So there really is something for everyone and at a fair price.
30th July 2015 Had been there for lunch before and enjoyed their mee goreng and since we were down that end of town we thought we would try it for dinner. The meals are $10-$12 more expensive for dinner for no obvious reason. Entrees are very small especially for their price. Spent $75 for 2 entrees, 2 mains and Chinese tea for 2. Food was mediocre and service wasn't great. Waitress went to take away my entree plate without me having finished it. Do not recommend for dinner but am willing to give them another try during lunch and potentially update my review

29th November 2010 Yummy and plentiful food. Good for meeting friends. Service a little less than friendly and quite hard to hear friends when it's busy - loud! Good food, though
