18th November 2013 I can not believe the way I just got treated as I walked into this fish and chip shop at 4pm to get a scoop of chips with chicken salt. As I walked in the owner was cutting fish at the other end of the building. He yelled out what do you want and I said a scoop of chips with chicken salt. As I said this he yelled back at me NO chicken salt and I said no I would like chicken salt please. As I said this he raised his voice very loud and yelled back NO chicken salt we don't have. At this point he was yelling at me very loudly and I stopped him and told him that it was very inappropriate and unprofessional the way he was speaking to me. I told him he should not speak to his customers like this and he said well what do you want me to do, you can see I am cutting up fish. I said yes I can see that but as your customer you should come right up to me to speak to me not yell at me across the room. I then explained I would not order anymore as I was totally shocked at the way he was speaking to me. This made him very mad and he started yelling at me as I left the shop. One other worker came out and heard the end of the conversation however kept his head down. I will never ever go here again and tell others about this terrible experience! I am so shocked that in New Zealand you can receive treatment like that in a fish and chip shop.
