15th July 2013 this isn't the cafe to come to for style, but with very resaonable prices total bill came under$40 for 4 coffee and 3 cake and soup and burger. we can't complain. the service very good lovely asian lady running the place appeared to know alot of her customers by name. we were surprised at how busy it was for winnter time. coffee up to expectation.my latter was strong,we recommend if you comhere prepared for a short wait for a table. however, it's well worth it.

9th August 2011 This place was great in its day. Warm and friendly with great country food. Not anymore. After being rudely told I was allowed only one type of sauce on my bacon mushroom burger (I foolishly asked for BBQ and one other), the burger turned up on my table with no beef patty! When I enquired why, I was again rudely spoken to, and told that "that's just the way it is". After then then being told to "just leave if you don't like it" I'ld had enough and told the female asian owner so. I've worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and have never experienced anything like this. Even my wife was shocked. Words followed, with the owner becoming so incensed that she slammed down her counter tray, screamed "Get out, get out!", leapt for the phone (I can only assume to call the police) and ran out to the car park to take down my license plate. It's unfortunate that such an icon as the Pipiroa Country Kitchen has become such an appalling place to dine. Deficient in both hospitality and meat patties.
