My partner and I stopped by the Spice Room for dinner and were greeted by a friendly staff member at the entrance who sat us down and immediately provided us with menus and ice cold water (it was 28 degrees outside so much appreciated!). The waitress informed us of the specials of the day and gave us a good amount of time to decide on our choices. We opted for an onion bahji, medium chicken madras, mild lamb korma and a garlic naan. The food arrived in a timely fashion and all was delicious. Part way through the meal a waitor checked with us that the meals were to our satisfaction. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cool and quite unique for an Indian restaurant. The only thing that detracted from the experience were the people coming and going while waiting for takeaways, hanging around the dining area.
