19th February 2012 Had yum char at this place. It is the best yum char place in wellington so far. The service was good and the staffs were friendly. They were attentive. Once they saw empty plates, they would collect them right away. The hygiene there was also very good. You can hardly find any yum char place has their staffs wear gloves. All the staffs wear gloves when they serve. Food was good and the seating was comfortable.
Established Chinese restaurant in the Courtenay place, at the heart of the entertainment district. Serves dim sum/ yum char lunch daily and is also open for dinner. Majestic cuisine is a popular restaurant serving an extensive range of Chinese cuisine. Dishes on offer include classics like steamed pork bun, rice, noodles and crispy roast duck as well as some more unusual options.
Majestic Cuisine is open for lunch from 11am to 3pm and for dinner from 5pm until late.
It is fully licensed and also offers BYO. There is Pay and Display parking close by. Majestic Cuisine takes reservations.
29th April 2012 food was ok,not great. was there today (1pm) and yum char was going fine, we had 3 plates. Then everything stopped coming out. After about 20 mins the odd plate came out ( buns and sweet items) but that was it. Then after a wile longer i finally saw some dim sims and deep fried squid, then it went straight to a table of who i must assume were regulars and by passed us all together. then to make things even more weird. We over herd the waitress ask the table next to us to leave as they had been there to long? the place was not full and yum char goes till mid afternoon right? So we left and continued lunch else where.
