19th February 2012 It was the first time i went to try wood fire pizza and It was really good in terms of quality and quantity. Very gourmet. I ordered Chicken cranberry pizza. The thin crust was really nice and there were a lot of big pieces of smoke chicken on the pizza. The waitress/waiter provided good service. The hot chili sauce on the table added the extra spicy taste on the pizza and made it taste even better! The restaurant design was unique and with the menu all had a wood theme. I will definitely go again and would recommend people that love pizza to try this place:)
11th December 2013 Signed up specifically to review my meal last night. have never been moved to do so before. and when i did, i found that i was essentially going to rewrite the review of the October 12 reviewer. I had a half Anchovy and half Marinara pizza. Anchovy was one piece of peperoni and one anchovy per slice. Marinara was one very thin squid ring and one prawn/shrimp per slice. Nothing else. It actually wasn't possible to to have less topping without having none. Staff were friendly, i have to say, but what a rubbish pizza - all for the want of not being stingy! Give a customer what they pay for please. and yes, agree with the Oct 12 reviewer - the music was too loud for easy conversation at the table.

17th December 2011 Wellington has a few woodfired pizza shops, but nothing like this. The thin-based pizzas are in a league of their own. We got the Designer, which allowed us to choose anything on the menu. The service was what I expected from this laidback but professional shop, not too in ypur face but consistent. Overall, I would recommend to anyone that this pizza shop knows its stuff and in my opinion can not be beat!

12th October 2011 cheap pizzas and a proper pizza oven BUT my pizza had no discernible topping apart from the usual tomato/cheese sauce and the restaurant was drafty and uncomfortable. Very loud music does not help the atmosphere unless you don't want to have to talk to your companion(s). Truly awful house wine.

6th September 2011 I have been to this pizza shop so many times I have lost count!! I love the thin crust and the intense flavors, especially on the vegetarian, and the designer option is always fun. I am also a fan of the wood fire oven, because there is no added oils etc during cooking, so it's the healthier option! The atmosphere is great, always such an awesome buzz about the shop, the staff seem to have fun and pass their enthusiasm onto the customers. One of my Wellington faves :)

28th August 2011 Went with a group of 15 for a celebration, booked in advance. The waitress was very patient in dealing with a large group of people who couldn't make up their minds. We thought 7 pizzas would be enough, but either they were a bit on the small side or we were particularly hungry, so we ordered another round of 3 more plus a dessert pizza (which I didn't get a chance to try). I was quite impressed that both rounds all arrived together, although I think some had just been waiting because they had cooled quite a bit, but not yet cold.
Flavourwise, the crusts are light, thin, and not greasy at all. The flip side is that they tended to be a bit dry, but others in the group tended to see this as a plus. I tend to like thicker crust pizzas, so it depends on your tastes. For me, the food was a 6, but for others it was probably an 8, so I've given it a 7 here.
The atmosphere was good. Background music wasn't too loud to prevent discussion and the place seemed lively.
The presentation was just average though. We were given a stack of plates only after asking for them, and then one was dirty and had to be sent back along with a request for more because we were given 12 plates for 15 people.
In the end, the waitress did a great job of keeping us fed and happy, with the food leaving us talking about it on the way home.
