Miramar's The Larder provides hearty, honest, wholesome food in relaxed, unpretentious surroundings. It is unashamedly a neighbourhood restaurant, for the people of Miramar.
Head Chef and owner Jacob Scott sources food locally and where possible, directly from farmers and producers. He believes strongly in the philosopy of "nose to tail eating".
The Larder is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a menu that is best described as Modern European in style. Sample mains from the dinner menu include "twice cooked gruyere and goats cheese souffle with white truffel oil" and "pork belly with crumbled black pudding, apple calvados puree and pepper caramel". Average main price is around $33.
The Larder has extensive wine list encompassing both New Zealand and European labels.
