Wow, we very impressed with Icon Restaurant and Bar when we visited for a Saturday meal for two (without a reservation).

We were easily accommodated, well served throughout the evening by a very attentive waitress and very impressed by the quality and refinement of the food, which was great value for money (each main was $28.50) and delicious. I asked my partner what score he would give the meal out of 10 and he replied that he 'couldn't fault the food at all'.

The dishes we purchased were the salmon and the pork belly - yum and yum!

Only problem was, the main was so filling that we couldn't find room for dessert.

A welcome surprise dining here (we had thought that since it was connected to a hotel and a bar that it may be more like 'pub food') and we will be returning again to sample different dishes for the next family celebration.

Hubby and I dined here last week, it was nice but empty when we arrived (7.30pm on a saturday) the restaurant is very clean and modern. we were seated straight away and orders taken shortly after, meals came out pretty fast, hubby had steak/tempura prawn meal, and i had the duck, meals were nice but very small! and too expensive for the size, we didn't bother with desert. but had a 2 for 1 entertainment book coupon so glad we only had to pay for one meal. i think the out door area is nicely set up and would be nice to have a girls night out there in the summer.service was good though.
