19th January 2011 My husband and I happened upon this place while we were waiting for our son to finish his appointment. this is the dinkiest little place ever. you get the expected servery of club sammies, scones, butterfly cakes etc. but in a separate servery area is a table full of mouth-watering 'high tea' goodies that make your eyes light up. you get served up your hot drinks and food on traditional english tea sets that are really funky and cute. the staff are friendly and warm, and the atmosphere is very quaint and unassuming, yet cosy and warm. you don't get the normal cafe hustle and bustle, which is a blessing when all you want to do is enjoy a hot drink in peace. it was slightly pricey, but if i'm ever in the area again, i'd go back in a heartbeat. infact, i wish it was my local!
