Great food. Indian cafe style with food to equal if not better any restaurant in the area. Starter for two was wonderful and generous. Mains delicious. One note - the medium rogan gosht was on the hot side. Fine for me but be aware. We will certainly be back.

If you are looking for authentic Indian cooking this is the place to go. The food is always consistent, good portions and great flavours. The owners/managers are really friendly and the online ordering of take aways makes it very convenient. The only negative is that it could be a bit pricy as a take away.

Just had a great evening at Yatra. Fantastic service and the food was the best Indian food in upper hutt. We had 2 starter platters for the 4 of us and onion bahjis all the food was great and there was plenty of it. I had chicken korma which was very nice and we had a bread basket of various nann breads, which were lovely and fresh. They have heat pumps which keep the restaurant lovely and warm even with the door keep being opened. We all really enjoyed the night and can't wait to return.
