22nd October 2010 Way to go Maria! This is not the rundown Feathers that was previously here.
We had a midweek outing to celebrate a significant family birthday. The large party included 13 adults and 3 kids.
Service:
We received attentive and helpful service in a clean modern space. An unanticipated birthday cake topped off the evening. The kids were armed with drawing stuff and a high chair as required and served first off the kids menu. They were mighty pleased with the small touches that made their eating experience a joy and made it easy on the adults. The atmosphere was good and the fireplace was very welcome on a cool October evening.
Food:
The delicious taster plates were a good idea to keep us going while orders were taken and food was prepared. For the main course several different items were ordered - favorites were lamb shank, steak and fish. Reports ranged from "the best ever" to "I've had even better" for the lamb, the steak was very well received, salmon was well prepared with a flake that revealed a succulent interior to the fish of the day that in its thin filleted form was perhaps overcooked and received an "OK rather than great".
All in all a great time was had by all and Maria delivered what we needed with good food and a great time in an upscale kid-friendly atmosphere.

16th October 2010 I was very impressed with my experience at Maria. We live locally and last week we decided to come down and have a meal there for the first time.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing pleasant service. The food was exceptionally tasty and I liked the fact that everything seemed very fresh and authentic. Very impressed with our first try and I will definitely be back!

4th October 2010 I found Maria's Restaurant to be very good, we had 8 people dining and the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was great and we all enjoyed the macedonia flair and home made sausages.
