Presentation Skills for Life: Effective presentation and public speaking skills to help make you irresistible to your customers while remaining wholly at ease with yourself.
Developing each person's ability to stand up and speak confidently to an audience is the goal of The Training Place One Day Presentation Skills Courses, which can be customised to suit small groups of all ages, needs and backgrounds.
Your Course Director combines experience and professional training skills from both the business and academic worlds with light-hearted techniques from clowning and storytelling traditions, to provide these enjoyable Courses that help clients learn new ways to manage fears, nervous habits and telltale signs of anxiety; deal with heart-thumping adrenalin and build on their own unique learning style.
Full day Presentation Skills for Life courses range from as little $200 per person, including a light lunch and other refreshments at a tranquil Thorndon location in Central Wellington.

The Training Place also offers individual or small group Coaching for University and other Tertiary study, helping learners of all ages to understand and apply the specialised requirements of academic writing, research and assessment. Popular topics include Assignment writing, Referencing skills, Report and Essay writing plus Study skills and effective preparation for tests and exams.

The Training Place also provides a home page for ~Shadow the Storyteller. Shadow has written and published a book on Storytelling; is a member of the NZ Storytellers Guild, NZ Home Storytellers and the Wellington Storytellers Cafe.
