29th March 2012 We were staying at a local B&B so stopped in at Waingaro Hotel for a few drinks and a meal. Absolutely loved the place. It's a true Kiwi bar, with a lovely large outside area for enjoying your meal or drinks in the sun. It overlooks the Waingaro Hot Springs (not so keen on them) and has a lovely outlook. Lloyd was the perfect host.
We will definitely come back and visit here :-)

14th April 2009 we rate this hotel 5 stars (it may not be the ritz but it deserves a 5 *, it may look old and rundown however it is very clean and confortable that what gives its unique look and it has a warm feeling and for the price per night, you will not complain and have special rate for inhouse guest for breakfast..full on breakfast and you have to be a big eater to finish a meal..the food are just supperb and very affordable and to top it all are the Host Mary and Lloyd..always making sure that we have everything we need from the time we arrived till the last minute we depart (that's include all guests)..you can either just relax in the bar or pop into the hotspring pools next door (note: the hotel is seperate from the hotspring it is owned and run by Mary and Lloyd) Thank you very much for your hospitality and we will definetly come back.
