I never leave online reviews but I felt compelled to go out of my way to leave one for Ninjaflower as the service I received here was exceptionally good - not just for a piercing studio but general customer service in every regard. I only got a simple nose piercing but at every stage of the process. When I called to inquire, Esther was so helpful on the phone, then when I arrived to the studio, she was so thorough and patient talking me through the process from start to aftercare. She always encouraged me to call or email should I have any problems come up while travelling. Scott is a master piercer and in his hands I could tell no detail around cleanliness, comfort or piercing skill was overlooked. Super easy and I barely blinked. They also place a lot of emphasis on the fact that they are there to help in any way they can during the aftercare stage and not to hesitate should you have any concerns. The space is also BEAUTIFUL. You feel like you are walking into a relaxing meditative house escape; it's so zen like. Throughout the whole process I found every single staff member to be considerate, thorough, professional, helpful and so knowledgable. Honestly, I was blown away by how great a service Ninjaflower provided. Awesome set of people and a great business to support. THANK YOU!

I got my bellybutton pierced today and I was extremely nervous. Both Scott and Esther were incredibly friendly and full of information. Scott talked me through the entire thing so I knew exactly what to expect, he made sure he didn't do anything until I was completely ready...and it didn't hurt a bit! Thank you all so much! 10/10 I will recommend you to all my friends.

After getting piereced at Ninjaflower, I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else. Scott is amazingly skilled and his technique is so gentle. He also lets you know what is happening at all times so you know what to expect. Both Scott and Esther are extremely knowledgeable about piercings, jewellery and technique and I just cannot recommend them enough.

I have been going to Ninjaflower for the last two years and I would never go anywhere else. Esther and Scott are so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and, best of all, passionate about what they do. Scott's technique is so gentle and organic, I have barely felt any of my five piercings that he has done and they have all healed up perfectly. Nothing is ever an issue for them, even if you ask a million questions. :) They also have the finest selection of jewellery; you want to buy everything!

I had previously had a piercing done elsewhere and had found it a really horrible experience, so I was nervous about having a second go. No worries though - Ninjaflower were AMAZING. I live 4 hours away from Wellington, so initially contacted the store by email - Esther responded promptly, giving excellent advice and information. The store is really nice bright and fresh with a huge range of high-quality & artisan jewellery. Esther and Scott were both really clear with me on jewellery options for my piercing. Esther took me through a very professional checklist to make sure that had all the information they needed, and that I had full instructions on aftercare for my piercing. Scott (the piercer) took me through the process step-by-step, making sure I knew what was going to happen and showing the precautions he takes to ensure a sterile environment. I was impressed with the service, happy with the price, and I'm delighted with my new piercing.

I'm sure if I had the chance to get my piercing, it would have been a positive experience and worth the travel and cost getting there. But unfortunately I was turned away due to having my daughter with me, whom I could not find a babysitter for. I felt quite upset at being turned away, as I was really looking forward to the experience. I was told it was their policy, yet I saw nothing about this policy on the website or in-store

We are a family friendly studio but ask if a potential client is bringing in a child that they bring a friend or another family member to care for the child while the parent is getting pierced. This just ensures an easy experience for everyone involved. In this case the child in question was crying & disrupting the experience of another client who was in the process of getting pierced. Its all about good communication & we are happy to let potential clients know about our child policy if asked, we have added this question to our Frequently Asked Questions page on our website to better serve our clients in the future. We encourage potential clients coming a long distance to call or email first to make sure we get all questions answered. Its all about building a happy & healthy piercing community.

I've had 7 facial piercings done over the past few years, and just a few weeks ago had the pleasure of getting my 8th done with Ninjaflower. It has by far been the best experience I have had with a piercer to date. Esther was extremely friendly and welcoming, and she explained the whole process very clearly making sure I was happy with everything. Scott was just the same. Letting me know at every step just what was happening and making sure I was comfortable. The piercing itself was done very professionally and went perfectly. It's healed super quick with no issues at all. To be honest, I didn't even notice an increase in the cost at all compared to other places, but the service at Ninjaflower was wayyyy ahead! I know who I will be going back to again for sure next time.

A good friend and I both had peircings done there at the same time, we figured they would be really good because they definitely were not cheap. The service was excellent and we both left totally happy with our peircings. However despite both being very cautious and strictly following the care instructions we received both of our peircings became painfully infected. I tried contacting ninja flower for advice via email and answering machine messages but never received a reply. My friend and I both visited doctors separately and were both told our peircings were infected due to poor practice by the piercer. I know ninja flower has a great reputation and I'm sure this was fairly isolated but none the less I am quite upset to have paid for a piercing that was not done properly and have not heard anything back from ninja flower when I have attempted to contact them.

Bammms review of our service bothered us just for one moment then we realised we can honestly say we have returned every phone call or email in the 3 years we have been open as the other clients know they get a 2 week check up call and responses to email in 24hours even when we are out of the country on holiday. Ninjaflower offers piercings via aeseptic technique, facemasks, sterile gloves are used for every procedure. Its possible for anyone get an infected piercing however unlikely in Scott's 18 years experience. We also wanted to point out the comment about the doctor saying the piercer had poor practice when the doctor wasn't at the piercing procedure. For someone who is upset we would have expected them to come into the shop and enjoy our quality rich service. We are here 6 days a week because we love what we do. Having had various other piercing over the years, nothing compares to Ninjaflower. I had my right nostril done recently, and I have had no swelling, redness, heat or pain other than the initial piercing. Yet even that hurt less than my lobe, helix or industrial. Whilst this isn't a cheap option, the extra cost is well worth it and I was happy to pay for the exceptional service. I will never go anywhere else now, thanks muchly Ninjaflower!

I got my eighth body piercing done at Ninjaflower. Scott and Esther were wonderful and made me feel at ease. They made sue I was comfortable and that I knew what was happening at all times. The timing of things was up to me and when I was ready, there was no hurry. Scott's technique was great and I love that he doesn't use any clamps. Ester gave me a call to see how healing was going, and I went back after two weeks to get shorter jewellery put in. Again Scott was really great and I can't wait to go back! I've never been to a better piercing parlour than Ninjaflower :)

I have just had my first +18 female piercing done at Ningaflower. It was the best experience I have ever had and Esther and Scott were fantastic. They took the time to explain everything and nothing was rushed. They were very professional in every way. I was made to feel at ease the whole time and I felt in control of the pace things was done. It was clean, warm and inviting. They have great quality jewellery and many years experience in this area. Along with that, Scott takes onboard any feedback which will help him in the future with his work. I would highly reccommend Ningaflower to anyone looking for a great experience from start to finish for any type of piercing. Esther and Scott thank you so much. MS

I went to Ninjaflower for my 6th body piercing - it was by far my best piercing experience. They stand head and shoulders above the rest! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. They take time to explain everything very clearly. The studio is clean and bright and Scott has a great piercing technique! I'd recommend Ninjaflower to anyone without a moment's hesitation! I got my first piercing done at Ninjaflower and i am extremely happy with the result and service. All my questions were answered and everything was explained. It was a comfortable and easy procedure and the staff were very friendly. The aftercare was also explained very well. I highly recommend Ninjaflower for getting piercings done.. and they have an amazing range of piercings.

I would highly recommend Ninjaflower to anyone looking to get a piercing done. The studio is bright and clean, and the selection of jewellery was great :) I recently had a body piercing done, and the staff took the time to answer all of my questions (I had a lot!) and explain everything to me in detail - they're very knowledgeable and they made my piercing experience as easy as possible. The piercing itself was done quickly and hygienically, to a high professional standard. The aftercare process was fully explained to me, and I love the natural approach they have towards healing.
