Grip Mat Ltd was established in August 2007. We have used this time to research and test our Grip Mat. This allowed us to make different options available to suit the needs of our clients. All people are unique in their own way and with this in mind, we are proud to offer Grip Mat to you.

In the course of our research we read these alarming accident statistics, which showed us the danger in our own homes. The scary thought is that most households in New Zealand face this danger every day.

Grip Mat Ltd was registered in December 2007, as we felt that this was the right time to get the ball rolling, and show our total commitment to safety in the home. Grip Mat has done further testing over this period, allowing us to offer you several methods in assuring minimum slip on your stairs.

Slip was just one of the dangers we faced on an external staircase, however strong it is built. Many of these stairs are tucked away in areas that are not lit at night, and to overcome this problem we offer these options of Grip Mat's luminous step nosing. The Grip Mat nosing is available as either an aluminum material with a luminous insert, or in a fiber reinforced material.

To overcome these obstacles, Grip Mat Ltd has obtained a step nosing with all the required characteristics to create a safer environment.
