This restaurant is amazing.it's such a nice place to go for the views and the staff are all really friendly and very professional.They had a musician playing the piano all night which added a nice feel.the salmon steak was one of the greatest iv had

Due to earthquake damage Alchemy will not be up and running until early 2012.

Situated in the Christchurch Art Gallery, Alchemy is a versatile space with seating for more than 250 people and a separate bar area with views of the Sculpture Garden, Worcester Boulevard and the Arts Centre.

The kitchen team works with a range of local suppliers to source quality fresh ingredients.

Restaurant dinner menu offerings include Salt n' Pepper Calamari with Soused Scallops, Duck Liver Parfait and Goats Cheese and Fig Filo.

The Restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch from 9:30am and open Wednesady to Saturday for evening dining.

Alchemy is also available for weddings, events and corporate functions.
