Wushu! What is wu-shu mean more deeply, Wu means Martial and Shu means Art.
What is difference between Wushu and KUNGFU? Wushu is a term for all Chinese Styles Martial arts, and Kungfu is what you have trained and gained from a style, in another word, Kungfu means hardwork over a long period of time.
Chinese Wushu Originally from the ancient wars, and developed over 5000 years. Now days the chinese wushu has becoming a scientific sport, and China has formed its national team and province teams, trained professionally for competitions and demonstrations. And it has developed very well, there are many professional teams formed all around the world.
Once its became a professional sport, its mainly divided into two categories, one is call Taolu(forms of all the chinese styles), this category is mainly for performance so it's very usefull on martial arts films. Jet lee is one of the best Taolu champ ever. And another category is Sanshou(free sparing), this one is very practical, it has taken some simple practical moves from all the chinese styles martial arts and also combined with western boxing and kickboxing. It is an ring sport, these few years, China often has competitions between Sanshou and Muay Thai.
Coach Willie Ying is a licenced Chinese Wushu Instructor. He has trained in China and competed in Hong Kong where he was the overall winner in the Hong Kong International Wushu Competition 2007. As a stuntman and actor he has perfomed in numerous TV commercials and featured films. Willie specialises in action films, competition Wushu artistic forms - both modern and traditional, practical Sanshou - (Chinese full contact kickboxing ). As well as ambitious Willie has the fitness, confidence and charm to take on the world! Classes open to all levels all ages and both genders
Kids start at 7pm to 8pm
Adults starts warmup at 7.30pm to 9pm
