As a forest owner manager, you will be on the look out for experienced and trustworthy operators to undertake work and carry out services.
As a leading business in delivering quality work on time and to a high standard, we are expanding our client base. In so doing, we are looking at areas of interest where we can utilise our teams skill base and make a positive difference to the wider community.
Currently our main interest is in the forestry sector focusing on silviculture - planting, release spraying, pruning and thinning. We will continue this operation, building on the 19 years that we have been operating in the lower North Island. Our future focus is to establish new working relationships with forest owners and investors.
We recognise that the wider community and key agencies have a growing interest in the importance of the environment, its care and enhancement. As the business director, I have an intimate understanding of conservation values and requirements and I am eager to be involved with conservation and amenity projects within the region on an ongoing basis.
When contracting us, you can rest easy knowing all the important workplace safety and administration boxes have been ticked. We have a comprehensive Health and Safety Plan which has been accredited under the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices scheme. A copy of our Safety Handbook and a full copy of our Health and Safety Management Plan can be provided on request. We also have an extensive Public Liability and Fire Insurance policy covering potential events. Again details are available on request.
As owner, I have been running the forestry contracting business since 1989. Within that time our teams have been responsible for the successful planting of over three million trees of various species and the maintenance of thousands of hectares of plantation forest and smaller blocks of native species.
