A warm welcome awaits you at the Diplomat Motel where your hosts Brian and Bridget look forward to making your stay in our single storey Christchurch Motel the best it can possibly be.

We are a well established Christchurch Motel located on Papanui Road in the heart of Merivale offering large, spacious, comfortable, ground floor studio units and 2 bedroom family accommodation in a beautiful garden setting.

We specialise in catering for hospital guests, corporate travellers and those looking for a wonderful holiday base in Christchurch.

Our fantastic location puts us 1.5km from Christchurch city centre and a 5 minutes walk to Hagley Park. We are located on a main arterial bus route (including the #10 bus to the airport at the gate) .

Excellent accommodation facilities, reasonably priced. We turned up there really late without a booking they were very obliging let us have a unit, very tidy. King size bed in main room 2 singles in other room, private court yard with outdoor furniture.
