Kawau Island Super Cruise – Departs Sandspit
Also Known as the ‘Royal Mail Run’ & the largest NZ Mail Cruise by water. This is a great way for locals & travellers alike to combine a cruise & Island visit with nature, history & a fun day out. Cruise the beautiful bays of Kawau Island dropping mail off to the locals as we go & gain a rare glimpse into life on an island that has no roads. Watch Gannet birds diving for food & keep a look out for penguins & dolphins! Enjoy your Island stop where you can visit Mansion House Museum, Sir Governor Grey’s Garden of Eden, or take one of the many walks to historic sights whilst watching Kawau’s wildlife. A delicious traditional kiwi BBQ lunch on board is an optional extra, or come to our island cafe restaurant, where Wekas, Wallabies & Peacocks are found. For the adventurous bring a fishing rod or hire a kayak to self explore.

Mansion House Cruise – Departs Sandspit
Sir George Grey, the first Governor of NZ purchased Kawau Island in 1862 & began establishing a 'Garden of Eden' converting the Copper Mine Managers house into an imposing mansion. Wander through the carefully restored Mansion House & admire the many artefacts gleamed from his travels, or marvel at the everyday objects of the Victorian era. Quietly amble through the elegant subtropical gardens with Weka, Wallabies & Peacocks. Enjoy freshly roasted coffee & tempting treats at the Cafe, or take a short stroll, swim or snorkel in the clear waters of sandy Ladies Bay. It's an easy 15 min walk to the lookout for spectacular views of the Coppermine ruins, or following the Miners track through bush with Wallabies, Tuis, Wood Pigeons & even Kiwis, then along the foreshore to the Coppermine itself.

See the shipwrecked 'Rewa', which was NZ ’s largest four-masted steel barque afloat in it's day. We visit the picturesque remains of the ‘Copper Mine’ & dash into Kawau's largest harbour to view Mansion House - Sir George Greys 'Garden of Eden'.

Location 45 minutes north of Auckland. Follow state highway 1 to Warkworth, turn right at the second set of traffic lights and follow the signs to Sandspit. Just 5 minutes from state Highway 1.

SO rude on the phone! Sorry you are working on a Sunday, but we've all been there and done that. Drop the attitude lady, it's your job to answer questions and talk to people. Very off-putting. Haven't sailed yet, will review that service once I've experienced it, but hone manner is VERY poor.
