14th January 2013 Sorry I don't agree every time I have been there they are lovely and friendly, sometimes they are fully booked but they are always helpful in getting me the next best appointment. The staff have gone out of their way to help me and my family with a few sicknesses I really recommend them.
26th January 2015 Registered with this centre because of financial difficulty - attracted by the cheaper fees. But I guess you get what you pay for in life.
Although the nurse at the time was very pleasant, the reception staff were condescending and rude. I was quite taken aback by some of their comments and their attitude. The Doctor I had chosen rushed me through in under 10 minutes despite being told the first consultation would be 30 minutes. At least I was not charged the 30 minute rate. I have never received any reminders for continued checks I am supposed to have and have not been able to bring myself to return. Finally needed medical attention recently but could not get an appointment for a week and also discovered that I had been registered for a completely different doctor to the one I had chosen. No apologies for their error - just a receptionist insisting that was the doctor I had originally selected. Have decided I'm better off paying the higher fees elsewhere if I am going to have to pay to attend an A & E whenever I need to see a doctor within a couple of days. The nurses I saw are the only redeeming feature.

9th May 2012 I also found the receptionist is really rude, not helpful and unfriendly when I called and tried to make an appointment with my GP this morning! I did not make any appointment with my GP at the end as the rudeness receptionist told me that I have to wait until next Monday as my GP is fully booked these few days!!! Gosh! In this case, are they telling the patients that they have to "PREDICT" their sickness a few days ahead and then book an appointment in advance!!!
Surprisingly I am not the only one facing the same problem with the receptionist after I read all the above comments!!! I wonder how many patients have been stopped by the rudeness and totally unhelpful receptionist and ended up transferred to other GP at other medical centres!!!

27th March 2012 interesting comments. Have had a couple of incidents myself where the receptionist were rude and unhelpful.
Interesting re this repeated message of timing of appointments, and receptionists getting rude. My story was that I had an apointment, got there right on time (according to my watch) and was scolded by the receptionist for being late for my appointment. I challenged her, and said no, that my watch said I was on time... and that I was not late. I got a less than friendly look from the receptionist.
Unacceptable, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. Someone at the Medical Centre needs to take responsibility for this.

19th August 2011 Extremely unfriendly receptionist. Its actually quite unbelievable how rude they can be. I wouldn't recommend this place. You can call them yourselves to see what happens. Just mention that you are an unregistered patient and see how they react. Quite surprised at how rude they can be.

18th August 2011 The nurses are not bad. But receptionists are the worst, especially when they are busy. Not to mention that they are impatient, they are rude and arrogant. Last week or so, I made an appointment for my parents, telling them they need to see nurses before seeing the doctor, and also the travel distance between my home to the clinic, I was allocated a time, which was not very suitable, which I agreed on because my parents wanted to have this appointment. After discussion with my parents, I made a phone call again, to change a new time, which was on the next day. They said OK and cancelled the previously agreed upon date.
On the afternoon of this previously agreed upon date, I received an angry phone call, interrogating me why my parents missed their appointments, I replied that they were given a new time. After a quick check, they said OK. But the disturbing irritating annoying problem/issue was when my parents saw the doctor on the next date, they were blamed not to come on the previous day, thus resulting in loss of time to see other patients, (I interpreted it as a loss of income). My parents answered the previously agreed upon date was cancelled straight after the new date was allocated. But the doctor didn't seem to trust them.
I believe the receptionist just passed the misleading information to the doctor, in order to avoid being scolded or blamed.
The receptionists are just impatient, not helpful and cannot work under pressure. We are seriously disappointed.

20th January 2011 I called in the morning and booked an appointment for 12:15pm with the receptionist as I only work down the road and thought I could pop in during my lunch time. The receptionist wasn't the most friendly as she heard I have an accent and she started going off about my work permit and how much I needed to pay as I wouldn't be treated as somebody with a permanent residency or New Zealand citizen. I knew that and at any point of our conversation I told her I didn't have money to pay as I knew I would have to pay a full fee. I got there and it turned out that my appointment was at 11:45am and the receptionist was even ruder to me and said I had missed my appointment and she even tried to charge me for it. I explained to her it was a misunderstanding and she carried on with her arrogant and disrespectful manner. I will never go back to the Botany Junction and I will never recommend it to anyone. I couldn't even find an email address to complaint which is shocking.
