10th May 2012 Nadia has been a piano teacher for my son Tjeu for more than 2,5 years now. Although at first he wanted to learn to play keyboard he soon got more intrigued by the sounds of the piano. Probably through the beautiful pieces that Nadia often played for him on the piano at the end of the lessons.
Nadia developed my sons skills from having never ever touched a piano into a skilled player in a very short time.
She supported him throughout the whole process to get his first grade which he passed with success.
I was impressed by the level of commitment from her ( she came with him to the exam) to assure that he would pass the exam with good result.
The other aspect of her teaching that I really appreciate, is the fact that she is constantly aware about the level of engagement from in our case a 13 year old by choosing the right pieces but still assuring that the level of improvement is guaranteed.
At the end of every year we are treated to a gathering at her place where all her students come to show their improvements.
It's a very enjoyable event where we see the same students from all kinds of different skill levels returning very year.
I can truly recommend (and I have done so several times) Nadia Vinogradova as a skilled qualified Piano teacher to everybody who has an interest in playing piano and wants to get their skills improved considerably. I am really happy how she learned my son to love playing piano which I think is a gift he takes with him for the rest of his life.
Research shows learning to play the piano or keyboard at an early age assists brain development.
Piano and theory taught.
Rates are $30 per half hour, $55 per hour.

I am an adult student who went to Nadia for a year. She immediately put me onto exercises which helped develop finger dexterity and speed, and supported me in learning pieces which were actually quite a stretch for a relatively new student. Her contribution to my playing was always very musical; she was able to show me how to string notes together to form shapely phrases, and gave me an appreciation of how even softly played notes can be powerful rather than weak. I learned to 'sit down' on a note, and bring relaxation and calm into passages that required it. On the other hand she also encourages powerful, strong playing when the music required it, and I would say she brings a romantic Russian spirit to interpretation. Also from what I have observed at a couple of Christmas gatherings for students, Nadia works very well with children.

To Whom it May Concern,
I have known Nadia Vinogradova since March 2008, when I commenced studying the piano with her.
As an adult learner (with some music study in the distant past), I was initially very hesitant, and able to play only one or two pieces of music. Over the course of our two years together, Nadia’s dedication and professionalism have been absolutely instrumental in enabling me to build a solid and varied repertoire, improve my technical skills, and in particular, develop a real understanding for the importance of “expression” in my playing.
Nadia is passionate about music, and this is evident in all aspects of her teaching. In addition to her thorough professionalism as a teacher, she has also helped me to re-discover my love of music, and the joy that can be found in both the daily ritual of practice, and the ultimate “mastery” of wonderful pieces of music from all eras and composers.
I have no hesitation in recommending Nadia to any potential student of the piano. I have thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with her, feel that my proficiency has improved strongly, and will miss her guidance and friendship. Unfortunately, as I am relocating back to Australia, I will not be able to continue my lessons. My new address is 112 Wallalong Cres. West Pymble, Sydney, Australia, and my email address is presently mckinn@xtra.co.nz - Nadia will be notified of my new email address once we are settled in Australia – please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Yours faithfully
