Music Works was formed in January 2001, the product of a merger between two of the oldest, established and respected importers and wholesalers in the New Zealand music industry. The two companies had been concerned that the Musical Instrument market in New Zealand was unhealthy and stagnated. The result is Music Works - a totally new company that since its inception has changed the retail music market in New Zealand. Music Works is a specialist importing company that has a direct retail chain that encompasses 34 specialist stores though out New Zealand, nearly three times the size of any other Musical Instrument group in New Zealand. We cover New Zealand from Whangarei to Invercargill with professionally owned and managed music stores. Music Works represents many of the worlds leading brands. We have exclusive importing agreements with these major manufacturers that mean that Music Works has direct access at the best possible pricing with factory backup warranty. We also offer a variety of other accepted brands to the consumer from our 34 stores. The size of the company means that we can negotiate great deals from our New Zealand suppliers so that we can offer value for money to our customers and not just for our own Brands. Music Works has specialist staff in technical servicing and repairing of instruments. We have factory-trained technicians who can service all of the brands we import with factory direct parts.
