Our funky baby clothes are thoughtfully designed so that ease and comfort comes hand in hand with style in our sweetly refined debut collection made from 100% certified organic cotton.

We only use internationally certified organic cotton that is spun into the highest quality combed yarn, and then woven to produce the softest and smoothest organic cotton fabric we can achieve.

We also like to leave our organic cotton beautifully natural – unbleached and untreated - just sometimes flecked with the natural cotton fibre. This way, our baby clothes are truly organic and natural.

Our organic cotton baby clothes come in a range of beautiful natural colours that have been dyed using eco-friendly dyes that are gentle and do not contain any heavy metals - preserving and protecting the environment and perfect for babies and toddlers.

The prints on our baby clothes are carefully hand printed using silk screens and water-based inks that are gentle and eco friendly – certified by GOTS.

Why choose organic cotton clothes for your baby?

A baby’s skin is up to 5 times thinner than adult skin, they have higher metabolisms and lower weight making them extremely susceptible to absorbing toxins and more sensitive to chemicals.

The following is a list of some of the chemicals which are found as residues in conventionally produced clothing and that may affect the health of the end user – particularly babies and children:

Chlorine bleaches
Formaldehyde
Silicone based softeners
Optical whiteners
Azo dyes

silicon waxes

In conventional cotton production “finishing” is the final processing to create easy care clothing that is soft, wrinkle-resistant, stain and odour resistant, fireproof, mothproof, and anti-static.

Residual chemical traces used for “finishing” on the fabric can cause burning eyes, nose, and throat, as well as difficulties with sleep, concentration, and memory and they can increase susceptibility to cancer.

Organic cotton has none of these harmful chemicals and is produced without the use of pesticides making it a much healthier option, especially for infants and those with skin conditions such as eczema.

And it’s not only the health benefits that make organic cotton such a great alternative to conventional cotton garments. It is incredibly soft and gentle to the touch while the gentle chemical free processing leaves it substantially stronger and more durable than conventionally grown cotton garments.
