Glenn and Thalassa shot our wedding in February 2015. We were very pleased with the photos especially as we did not think ourselves very photogenic but they did manage to get some flattering portrait shots of both of us and there were more than enough beautiful shots to choose from where we weren't just critiquing our own looks. Their easy going fun personalities helped to bring the best out of our wedding party and we all managed to have a good laugh at the more stressful times which really helped to relax us all for some nice shots. They work very well as a team with Glenn bringing out the fun side in everyone and Thalassa working hard to keep everyone in place and everything on schedule. They were excellent at helping us to plan out the photo schedule and helping us to decide on the best locations for what we wanted. They are great value wedding photographers for the Nelson region and we highly recommend them.

Right from the first point of contact Glenn and Thalassa made us feel at ease. They listened to what we liked (and didn't like) and the type of wedding we were creating and everything flowed perfectly from there. They were both very professional, punctual and their enthusiasm and passion for photography was felt by all. From the posing bridal party pics right through to the candid guest shots, every one of them captures the moment perfectly. We were absolutely stunned by how many fantastic photos we got and how they both really listened to what we wanted. Glenn and Thalassa are unique, vibrant and filled with an energy that is contagious... they made us and our guests feel comfortable in front of the camera which is evident in our beautiful pictures! 1st March 2014 We were blown away by the high standard of the photos but also there were so many to choose from. Also I feel that they listened to what I wanted which was lots of candid photos of both my guests and the bridal party. We had not planned any posing shots initially (my husband and I are both those types that shy away from a camera), however it somehow happened quite organically because we were relaxed and having fun. Glenn kept us laughing, while Thalassa kept shooting so they caught the posed shots and the fun candid bits in between. They definetly are skillful at playing that fine line of getting the job done yet keeping it light, entertaining and unobtrusive. Thanks guys for adding even more enjoyment to our perfect day. After seeing the queensbery album that they offered we decided after receiving the pics that we wanted to keep them in something equally beautiful and are stoked with it. After receiving the album we decided to buy a smaller book for our parents. Lisa and Regan

Glenn and Thalassa photographed our wedding in March 2014. We had a great relaxed meeting prior to the wedding day to discuss what we wanted from the photos and they took everything on board. Despite the looming cyclone on the day we have the greatest pictures to look back on. They did an absolutely fantastic job and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Having 2 photographers was great as they caught different angles of all our favourite moments. Both Glenn and Thalassa were professional and enthusiastic and know how to get the crowd going, while also taking the time to make sure the perfect shots were taken of all the small things as well as the big moments. The photobook Thalassa put together is absolutely perfect, and we loved the way it was formatted and edited. Thank you both for an unforgettable wedding day, we couldn't be happier! Glenn and Thalassa photographed our wedding in Feb 2014 and took fantastic photos. Both Glenn and Thalassa had infectious enthusiasim and made the guests and bridal party at ease. We had a great time with them getting ready and at the different location shots. They captured every moment from so many angles! We have so many quality shots it is hard to choose photos to send to guests and for the album! The photo booth was an absolutle hit and the fun the guests had with Glenn in the booth shows through in the photos. I couldn't recommend Glenn as a wedding photographer enough!

Glenn and Thalassa photographed our wedding in December 2013 and were excellent photographers and guests. We had a yellow and blue theme in which they came dressed up, and proceeded to take amazing photos of our guests and the day. Their energy and enthusiasm was fabulous and really appreciated, we had a lot of great feedback from our family and friends. They even set up a photo booth with props to get the guests in the mood. It shows through the photos, which not only are they of a really high quality with good composition, contrast and colour, but also in the excited reactions of their muses. Thanks very much guys!

Glenn and Thalassa were fantastic at our wedding. They photographed our day in Blenheim March 2013, and made it magical. Our wedding was in our front garden, with all the people we love most in the world. Glenn and Thalassa captured people, emotions and our home in the most unobtrusive but confident way. There was no sense of having cameras up close all the time. We were free to be ourselves. And they captured the joy and the nerves beautifully. Receiving all the photos they took as well as the album, in such a short time, was wonderful. We were able to share the day with friends all over the world. I am so proud of the photos we have of our wedding. I will treasure them forever. I highly recommend Glenn Bisdee Photography.

Glenn and Thalassa photographed our wedding in March 2013 and we couldn't be more pleased with our photos. Both Glenn and Thalassa were so easy to get along with and put all of our guests at ease, especially the bridal party. We had so much fun with them getting ready and taking location shots. We received so many quality shots it is hard to choose photos to send to guests, the album that Thalassa put together is absolutely stunning and we were amazed by the quality and quantity of photo's we received. I couldn't recommended Glenn as a wedding photographer enough, our photo's are awesome!

We would like to pass on a compliment of excellent service that we had received from Glenn for our wedding in January 2011. We had organised our wedding from Au and had only communicated via emails until we arrived in Nelson a week before the wedding. We met up with Glenn in his studio to go over the day and the types of photos that we were wanting. Not only was our wedding perfect, but Glenn made taking the photos so much fun. He is so full of energy, that it is hard not to have a great time. He even went out of his way to get the album done quick enough, that we got to take it back to Au with us two weeks later. SHOW US YA GUMMIES.... Andrew and Pam Briggs Wedding Day 27th November 2010 Well it was the morning of the 27th November 2010 and as arranged for Glenn Bisdee to meet us girls at 9am at Rustix Hair Salon in Stoke, Nelson sure enough he was on time, ready and waiting to go... snapping away capturing the very beginning of the day (messy funky chicken hair and no make-up on lol...) This is where the story of our day begins... Then after snapping some rather naked faces and our Hair-Up Shots, Glenn then headed off to snap some shots of the guys chilling out at our home playing a bit of Wii and having a quiet one... The next location for Glenn was back to us girls getting ready at a friends house where Glenn snapped the make-up and getting into our dresses. Then it was time for Glenn to disappear out to the Gardens of the World to meet up with his wife who was the other photographer and to capture the guys arriving ready for the Ceremony and then to capture us girls arriving... The nerves had well and truly set in now... Stomach in knots and my heart was racing... Glenn with his camera, setting up the parasols and bouquets and standing ready waiting for the music to start to walk down a isle full of white rose petals... Glenn and Thalassa got the lot! From all angles and all those extra special moments! Then after we finished snapping up some amazing memorable shots at Gardens of the World, we then headed out to Wakefield to the most amazing old run-down house where we all put on our sunnies and my two Bridesmaids and I threw on some gumboots to capture some unique, hilarious, original, and some serious, memories that we will never forget. Glenn used studio photographic gear outside to create fashionable, movie like Photos! ,something we had never seen done before. Then we set off to our final destination, Seifried Estate for our Reception and Glenn and Thalassa were ready and waiting, one step ahead of us and in time to capture the Grand Entrance, Cake Cutting and Bridal Table, Food and general Guest Shots of our Family and Friends! To sum this short review up on Glenn Bisdee Photography, What awesome Photographer's! We found Glenn Technically skilled, Original, Unique, Fashionable, One man who really loves pushing the Boundaries and so much Fun! No Regrets! We had Glenn shoot for our wedding then hired him for all our advertising, he charged $120 per hour all inclusive for the advertising shoot. The photos where fantastic and he pointed us in the right direction in terms of focusing our marketing energy. If your looking for a energy to be injected into the shoots then get him do do the job.....! forget about older photographers as they just seem limited by what can't be done! good job timely and well done. Thanks Joan Gibson .
